Shipping Policy

Research Use Only (RUO): Our products are for laboratory and analytical research use only.

1) Order Processing Time

  • Processing time: Orders typically process within 1–2 business days after payment is confirmed.
  • Orders placed on weekends or U.S. federal holidays begin processing the next business day.
  • We may require additional verification for certain orders (e.g., address confirmation, fraud screening), which can extend processing time.

2) Shipping Destinations

2.1 United States

We ship to most U.S. addresses, including P.O. boxes where supported by the carrier and shipment type.

2.2 International (if offered)

If international shipping is offered at checkout, you agree that:

  • you are responsible for ensuring products may be imported and used lawfully in your destination country;
  • you are responsible for duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, and any import-related charges;
  • customs processing may delay delivery.

If you want U.S.-only shipping at launch, we will update this section accordingly.

3) Shipping Methods, Rates, and Delivery Estimates

  • Available shipping methods and rates are displayed at checkout.
  • Delivery estimates shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees.
  • Carrier delays, weather events, customs, and other factors outside our control may affect delivery times.

4) Address Accuracy

  • You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
  • If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, you may be responsible for additional shipping charges to reship the order.

5) Order Tracking

  • When available, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
  • Tracking updates are provided by the carrier and may take time to appear.

6) Risk of Loss

To the extent permitted by law, risk of loss passes to you when we hand the package to the shipping carrier.

7) Lost, Stolen, or Missing Packages

7.1 Marked as Delivered

If tracking shows an order as delivered but you did not receive it:

  • check with household members/roommates, building staff, and nearby delivery locations;
  • contact the carrier to initiate a trace;
  • contact us within 7 days of the delivery scan so we can help investigate.

7.2 Lost in Transit

If tracking does not update for an extended period or the carrier confirms the package is lost, contact us and we will work with the carrier to resolve the issue.

7.3 Theft

We are not responsible for theft after delivery. If you suspect theft, file a police report and contact us with the report details.

8) Damaged Shipments

If your order arrives damaged:

  • take clear photos of the outer box, inner packaging, and product;
  • contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos.

We may require the item(s) to be retained for carrier inspection or claims processing.

9) Temperature, Handling, and Storage (General)

Some research materials may be sensitive to temperature, light, or moisture.

  • Shipping methods may vary by product and season.
  • Upon delivery, promptly follow storage instructions on the label and/or product page.

Note: We cannot guarantee product integrity if packages are left unattended in extreme conditions after delivery.

10) Returns to Sender and Undeliverable Packages

If a shipment is returned to us as undeliverable (e.g., incorrect address, refused delivery, unclaimed):

  • we may reship the order after you confirm the address;
  • additional shipping charges may apply;
  • in some cases, we may issue a refund minus shipping and handling costs, where permitted by our Returns & Refunds Policy.

11) Force Majeure

We are not liable for shipping delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruptions, weather, natural disasters, customs delays, labor actions, war, terrorism, pandemics, government actions, or supply chain interruptions.

Returns & Refunds Policy

Research Use Only (RUO): Due to the specialized nature of research materials and chain-of-custody considerations, returns are limited.

1) All Sales Final (General Rule)

Unless otherwise required by law, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for opened or used products.

We may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund only in the cases described below.

2) Eligible Issues (What We Will Make Right)

You may be eligible for a replacement, store credit, or refund if:

2.1 Wrong item shipped

If you received the incorrect item compared to your order confirmation.

2.2 Missing items

If one or more items from your order are missing.

2.3 Damaged in transit

If items arrive damaged due to shipping.

2.4 Package lost in transit

If the carrier confirms the package is lost (not merely delayed).

3) Reporting Timeframes (Very Important)

To be eligible for help, you must contact us within:

  • 48 hours of delivery for damage claims; and
  • 7 days of delivery for wrong or missing items.

Requests submitted after these timeframes may be denied.

4) What You Need to Provide

To start a claim, email support@peptideresearches.com with:

  • order number;
  • your full name and shipping address;
  • a description of the issue;
  • photos of the outer box and inner packaging (required for damage claims);
  • photos of the item(s) and labels (required for wrong-item claims);
  • any relevant carrier/tracking details.

We may request additional information to verify the claim.

5) Resolution Options

Depending on the issue and availability, we may provide one of the following:

5.1 Replacement shipment

We may reship the same item (or correct item) at no additional cost.

5.2 Store credit

We may offer store credit for future purchases.

5.3 Refund

Refunds (when approved) are issued to the original payment method.

Shipping fees: Original shipping fees are generally non-refundable unless the issue resulted from our error or required by law.

6) Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Situations

We do not provide replacements, store credit, or refunds for:

  • buyer's remorse or change of mind;
  • incorrect shipping address provided by the customer;
  • delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, or other events outside our control;
  • packages marked "delivered" where the carrier confirms delivery to the provided address;
  • issues caused by improper handling, storage, or use after delivery;
  • purchases made through unauthorized resellers.

7) Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe there is a billing error, please contact us first so we can help resolve it quickly.

Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may delay resolution and may result in account restrictions.

8) International Orders (If Offered)

For international shipments (if offered):

  • you are responsible for all import duties, taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, and compliance requirements;
  • we do not refund orders delayed, seized, or rejected by customs;
  • we do not guarantee delivery times due to customs processing.
